Well done to all Y3 children and adults. We had great (although chilly) time in Everdon, travelling back in time to learn how stone age people lived.

Literacy – We hope you have had a fantastic time at Everdon today! Can you write a diary entry of your day! Remember to use past tense verbs, first person and time conjunctions.

Maths – Homework has been set on your times-tables rockstars login. Can you login, and complete the times-tables and division task.

Have a great half term!

On Friday 9th February 2018 year 3 went to Evedon, it took a long time to get there but it was fun on the coach with my friends.
When we got there we all got out off the coach and put our lunches in where we was going to eat. We got back on the coach and maple and redwood class went two different ways, it was muddy and one of our activities was building, but some of us was climbing, clay making was another activity.
After we had our lunch there was a lot of people as we had to make room for another school, after we were finished we went back onto the coach, we were called Maple tribe, a lady told us what to do in the first group, there were 3 groups, I was trying to catch some food and I got a pig and a fish. I drew some Stone Age art on a blanket and the tree, and then we went into another group and we made sparks with a Stone Age tools.

When the trip was over we all got back on the coach and went back to school.

I had a really good day but got really dirty but I didn’t get cold at all because I wore loads of clothes.

I really enjoyed our class trip to Everdon.

During the day we climbed on slippy, lumpy bumpy trees and then we made dens.

After we had finished exploring we had a tasty lunch of tuna sandwiches.

Other tasks included cave paintings, making a fire and hunting pretend animals with bows and arrows and spears. That was great fun!

On the way home I saw my friend Harvey’s house.
